After nearly 10 years of evangelisation, semantic technologies is now being part of the broadcasting landscape. Broadcasters, manufacturers and asset management solution providers’ attention has risen to an unequalled level of awareness. The EBU welcomes this evolution and has developed active collaboration with key industry actors. The EBU is promoting several solutions for the semantic management of audio-visual content and live sport data.
