Methodology data.gov.sk-semanticweb, LOD Slovakia and Slovpedia in the context of SEMIC

This presentation aims to describe the adoption process of semantic web public data standards in Slovak Republic focusing on real use case scenarios. The standardization process started in 2013 under the Ministry of Finance where the main goal was to use URI for public resources. Since then a lot of work was done to enable usability of public linked data. The key results are: data.gov.sk-semanticweb – a complex but easy to use methodology that covers creation and processing of Slovak public linked data; LOD Slovakia – an open cloud of Slovak public linked data and Slovpedia – the data portal aimed to utilize public and non public linked data for educational and business purposes, such us providing data for analysis or client application. Therefore the presentation also contains description of Pharmaguard – our linked data application that tries increase security of drugs prescription and medication for end user.
